Dr. Nirmal Singh convenes public grievance redressal camp at Billawar

Speaker Legislative Assembly, Dr. Nirmal Singh held a public grievance redressal camp, here today.During the camp, Dr Singh interacted with various deputations from villages Malti, Rampur, Kalna, Dhanu Parole, Pallan, Dewal, Lahri, Baggan, Najot, Dharalta, Rajwalta and Bhadoo.On being apprised of the problems pertaining to road connectivity, water supply, electricity and other basic amenities and developmental needs, the Speaker assured them that all their genuine concerns will be looked into on priority and directed the concerned officials to take adequate measures to mitigate the problems of the locals in a time bound manner.“Early redressal of public grievances besides effective implementation of various government schemes for public welfare and overall development is the priority of present dispensation”, asserted Dr Singh.

He further directed the district officers to organize regular camps in all the remote areas to generate awareness about various government schemes to the intended beneficiaries. Dr Singh informed about various developmental initiatives taken by the government and asked the people to come forward for participatory planning.Speaker announced Rs. 15 Lakhs from his CDF to improve PHE supply in water stressed areas by augmenting PHE infra. He also called for pressing more water tankers in water deficient areas to cater the need of people who are devoid of potable water supply. Later the Speaker also met deputations of ReT/SSA teachers and Anganwari workers and listened to their issues. He assured them that their demands will be projected at appropriate forum for early redressal.ACD, CEO, Tehsildars, Engineers, DFO, SDPO Billawar, other Division level officers and villagers in large numbers were present during the camp.
