BJP always in the interests of peace in Kashmir : Ravindera Raina

The recently elected firebrand BJP president Ravinder Raina today announced that Kashmiris have accepted BJP as the only party that can heal their wounds as seen by their generous contribution towards the ongoing ceasefire announced by the Centre.Addressing party workers and constituency presidents in Srinagar, Raina said that peace is must for the development of youth as they need peace the most for their education, sports activities, and to move around. He said some people are inimical to peace like some people sent their children to outside schools and when poor people also reach up to such a level, they face criticism.Taking a dig at the Pakistan for destabilizing peace in Kashmir, he said whenever Kashmir and Kashmiris contributed towards peace, Pakistan played a spoil sport. He, however, condemned the militant attack on army camp at Hajin in Bandipora stating that forces showed a great respect to Ramadhan ceasefire.Raina said that the spurt in grenade attacks is highly condemnable as it shows the people the attacks have no respect for the holy month of Ramadhan.Speaking on the occasion, BJP General Secretary (organization) Ashok Koul said that its time to ensure people to people contact on ground zero to make the party more vibrant and strong. 

He stressed on strengthening the booth level workers of BJP in each zone so that people get acquainted with the BJP’s policies and governance model.  He stressed on observing world Yoga Day on June 21 with great fervor f Balidan Diwas on June 23, that marks the death anniversary of Dr Shama Prasad Mukherji.In his speech, Dr Narendera Singh, the state general secretary of BJP who is also the incharge Kashmir affairs, said that PM Narendera Modi always spoke about the welfare of 1.25 crore people irrespective of cast, creed or colour. He said that BJP is always concerned over the education of children, no matter to which community and religion they belong to. He said that it is the responsibility of society and parents, to keep a watch on their children so that they don’t treat a wrong path. He said in Kashmir people are getting benefited by the series of schemes and  in future more such schemes will be launched.Meanwhile, the BJP president Ravinder Raina announced a new team for the BJP’s Kashmir unit. He choose Altaf Thakur as the BJP’s new  spokesman for Kashmir while as Arif Raja as district president for Srinagar, Abdur Rashid Zargar as district president for Kupwara, Ashok Bhat as Program Coordinator Kashmir, Muhammad Tahir Mir as Kashmir Incharge Kashmir,  Manzoor Bhat, Co-Media Incharge   Kashmir, Asif  Masoodi, Election Incharge Kashmir,  Nazir Gilkar as Protocol Incharge Kashmir and Raja Showkat as Co-Incharge Protocol.
