District Development Commissioner Mohammad Aijaz Asad today directed the executing agencies to ensure timely completion of these projects taken up on the commitment made by Chief Minister to the People.He said the projects on completion will provide enhanced road connectivity, better health care facilities, adequate supply of water and electricity to the targeted areas.The DDC was speaking at a meeting convened to review the status of ongoing developmental works being executed in pursuance of directions issued by Chief Minister during her Public Outreach Programme held on March 05, 2018, in the district.The meeting was attended by ADDC, ACR, CPO, Chief Education Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Executive Engineers of R&B, PHE, PDD PWD and irrigation, District Social Welfare Officer and other district officer.
The meeting was informed over 351 issues of various natures were brought to the notice of Chief Minister which included developmental works, preparation of DPR for various projects/upgradation of health and educational institutions, augmentation of water and electricity supply system, upgradation of roads infrastructure, infrastructure in rural areas and promotion of tourism in the district.All the departments made a detailed presentation on status of ongoing works on CM commitments and assured that the works will be completed within stipulated time.The DDC directed the concerned officers to put in concerted and coordinated efforts and work with added zeal for time bound completion of all ongoing projects. He asked the officers to submit action taken reports to his office on weekly basis.
