Sikh institutions, gurudwaras pledge support to BJP candidate Kirron Kher

Prominent Sikh institutions and gurudwaras today pledged their support to the BJP candidate from Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat Kirron Kher. In a meeting held in the presidentship of Jagjit Singh Kang (Gora Kang) president Shiromani Akali Dal, at his residence, more than 70 prominent Sikhs participated representing various Sikh institutions and Gurdwaras in Chandigarh assured Kang of supporting him and work for the victory of BJP- SAD candidate Kirron Kherr.Among those who addressed the meeting included MC Chandigarh Malkiat Singh, Ex Member SGPC Amrinder Singh, President Gurdwara Coordination Committee Naik Singh, General Secretary Gurdwara Coordination Committee Harjeet Singh, President Gurdwara sector-34 Major Karnail Singh, Ex President Gurdwara sector-34 Amar Singh, President Gurdwara sector-41 Surinder Singh Kahlon, Youth Akali Dal leader Charanjeet Singh Villy, Kaka Singh Dhanas, Prithpal Singh Dhanas and Bara Singh.Besides this Gurdwara Sector-45 Chandigarh Jaswinder Singh, Gurdwara Sector- 32 Chandigarh Harbans Singh, President Ram Darbar Phase-2 Harjinder Singh Bawa, President Ram Darbar Phase-1 Kulwant Singh, President Ramgarhia Bhawan Sector-27 Chandigarh Sardool Singh, Gurdwara sector-45 Karnail Singh, Senior Akali Leader Inderjeet Singh Happy and Senior Akali Leader Jabarjung Singh were also present.
