To ensure absolute transparency and efficiency in the working of office of the Punjab Governor, the Punjab Governor and Administrator UT Chandigarh, V.P. Singh Badnore today launched the e-office software application developed by the National Informatics Centre at Punjab Raj Bhawan, Chandigarh.According to a spokesperson of the Punjab Raj Bhawan, this is a significant step forward to promote good governance, transparency and accountability; and it will work towards a better governance to meet citizens’ expectations.The software is capable of handling department files in electronic format and has features such as knowledge management system, personnel information system, dak system and collaboration and messaging services. File tracking system will also be a part of this digital workplace solution.Prominent amongst others who were present on the occasion included Mr. J.M.
