All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi has selected Aryans College of Engineering (ACE), Rajpura, Near Chandigarh for Saansad Aadarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) - an initiative by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.AICTE has allotted Jansua Village of Patiala district to Aryans College of Engineering under the SAGY.Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group thanked AICTE & Saansad Gram Yojana for giving this responsibility to Aryans.Kataria said that under this project with the intervention of Technology Aryans would develop more modes of Education, skills, employment opportunities etc so that the Gram Jansua can be brought into the mainstream of the Society.Kataria further added that Saansad Aadarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) has taken this initiative to reform the Villages of the Country with the technological intervention with the help to AICTE. In this project few Technical Institutions have been selected by AICTE to adopt the villages for their transformation.Saansad Aadarsh Gram Yojana is a rural development programme broadly focusing upon the development in the villages which includes social development, cultural development and spread motivation among the people on social mobilization of the village community.
