Addressing election rallies at Paloura, Domana and Muthi on Thursday, BJP National Executive Member & Former State President Dr. Nirmal Singh, State General Secretary & Ex-MLA Bali Bhagat and BJP leader & former IGP Farooq Khan appealed to the people to vote for BJP Candidate from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency & State President Jugal Kishore Sharma saying a vote for him would be a vote for BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and political and economic stability of the country. Addressing the meetings, Dr. Nirmal Singh tore into the Congress-NC leadership and said that the present dispensation has not only failed the people of Jammu province but also created problems for the nation in the Kashmir valley by pursuing highly pisive policy. He said it is a matter of regret that the ruling coalition, instead of defending and promoting the national cause in Kashmir, has been directly and indirectly promoting the Pakistani cause in the valley and flirting with separatists. He said the time has come for the people to punish the regressive forces as represented by the Congress and NC.
Bali Bhagat, while addressing these rallies, took to task the ruling coalition and charged them with playing pisive politics. He said all the social groups in the Jammu province are feeling neglected and the state government has not taken any step whatsoever to redress their grievances and meet their day to day civic and similar other requirements. He said what to talk of the remote areas of Jammu district even the areas adjoining Jammu city have not attracted attention of the authorities. “Corruption, mal-administration and arrogance are the three basic characteristic of the present dispensation,” he said and added that the people are seething with anger.
Calling the bluff of the fake secularist, Farooq Khan asserted that there is no need for the Muslims to fear the BJP as it is the only secular and democratic party that takes care of all sections of the society. Referring to the social and economic status of Muslims of Gujarat, Khan said that they constitute one of the most prosperous social groups in the western state which is being well administered and governed by an able universally acknowledged able administer Narendra Modi. Khan said that Narendra Modi has done his job in Gujarat and now the nation wants him to lead the nation which has been passing through a very critical phase. “The installation of Narendra Modi as the country’s Prime Minister is a historical necessity and the exigency of the time and the people of the country have to seize the available the opportunity to decimate the Congress and establish Congress free Indi,” he said and added.Dr. Singh, Bhagat and Khan made a passionate plea to the people and urged them to cast their votes in large numbers for the BJP candidate on April 10.
