Virender Kanwar Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister while presiding over a Review Meeting of National Rural Livelihood Mission informed here today that work plan for current financial year worth Rs. 25 crore under the Mission has been approved.He said that approval for implementing the scheme in 32 development blocks across the state intensively has been accorded. He added that Rs. 7.30 crore would be spent on imparting training besides Rs. 11.70 crore on community investment and revolving fund, Rs. one crore and Rs. five crores on interest subsidy and marketing respectively.The Minister said that training would be imparted to self help groups for making their products market oriented and various places would be identified and developed for selling of products. He said that State level fairs would be held during the year in all the districts which will provide a platform for self help groups of each district to sell their products. He said that the programme would be implemented to promote activities under tourism, IT, food processing, waste management, Gaushala management, cattle feed, zero budget agriculture, beauty products etc. He said that the main focus of the programmes would revolve around imparting training leading to identification of areas for employment and self employment avenues.He said that funds would not be a constraint for implementation of these activities and in case of paucity of funds the same would be provided from Mukhya Mantri Ajivika Yojna.
