Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2018: DDC Anantnag chairs meeting with service providers

District Development Commissioner Anantnag, Mohammad Younis Malik, who is also the District Yatra Officer, chaired a meeting of the Shri Aamarnath Ji Yatra 2018 service providers and concerned officers at Dak Bunglow here.The meeting held discussions regarding various issues pertaining to the 2018 Yatra and measures required for its smooth observance.The DDC instructed the representatives of service providers present in the meeting to improve their service quality and ensure no inconvenience is faced by Yatris. He also instructed the concerned officers to work in close coordination for smooth conduct of the Yatri.Malik assured the representatives of service providers that their genuine concerns as raised on the occasion will be redressed at an earliest.On the occasion, a draw of lots for allotment of boarding/shop tents among the service providers for the 2018 Yatra on Pahalgam Axis (Nunwan, Chandanwadi to SheshnagPanjtarni& Holy cave) was also conducted.Rates for various kinds of services including the camping, accommodation, dandies, pithus and riding/pack pony charges were also fixed on the occasion.The meeting was attended by CEO Pahalgam Development Authority, SDM Pahalgam, Tehsildar Pahalgam, ARTO Anantnag, other concerned officers and representatives of the service providers.
