Yoga guru Baba Ramdev reached in Chandigarh to support the Bharatiya Janata Party’s MP Candidate for Chandigarh Parliamentary seat, Kirron Kher here today. He addressed a media conference at the Press Club, Sector 27 today. The MP candidate Kirron Kher along with BJP’s State President, Sanjay Tandon and senior leader Satya Pal Jain also reached at the venue. While addressing the media-persons, Ramdev said, “The Congress government is losing ground in India is set to face the defeat in these elections. The B-team Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of the congress party is also not going to reap fruits. Moreover, they (AAP) are keen to join hands with BJP because they have lost the public support. The poor people of the country had thought that Kejriwal would be their messiah for them and now they have been let down”.

Highlighting the role he is playing in enabling Narendra Modi to become the country's Prime Minister, Ramdev said, “I have been travelling around and consolidating support for the BJP throughout Punjab and Haryana just to save this nation from the scam-ridden congress government. The sitting Congress MP Pawan Kumar Bansal was instrumental along with Kapil Sibal for Delhi’s fiasco at Ram Lila Maidan around two years ago. I am here for Kirron Kher in her fight against the corruption”.  Talking about the issue of black money he said that the congress had looted their own country and stashed the money in Swiss bank.Hitting out at the Congress government, Kirron Kher said that Congress has always pursued the "pide and rule policy" for petty political gains. She added the country needed a strong and decisive leadership, which only Narendra Modi could provide.
