Member of Parliament and Congress Candidate from Ludhiana constituency Ravneet Singh Bittu has onslaught SAD-BJP alliance for adopting adverse policies towards industry. He said only congress can give strength to the industry that has been passing through its worst phase in the reign of SAD-BJP alliance.. Bittu further added that he would not let the Pollution control board to blackmail small scale industry and will remove all hurdles in development of the city.Addressing a mammoth gathering in Vidhan Sabha constituency Atam Nagar Mr. Bittu said there is large number of small scale industry in Ludhiana and surrounding areas and many of families have been directly depended on it to sustain their living hood. But due to anti industry policies of SAD-BJP alliance many units of small scale industries have been closed down and many of them are about to wrap up. The industrialists have been black mailed in the name of power and pollution control board. Mr. Bittu further added that small scale industry is backbone of our economy and no state can overlook interests of the industry.
Bittu further added that for development it is necessary to provide basic facilities to the people. His aim is to provide clean environment, Quality education, Water-Sewerage and roads. He has started work in this direction and has been availing opinion of people for it. Mr. Bittu said his aim is to build under paths at all railway crossings, as over-bridges cover more area and it affects business establishments.Referring the projects including city bus service, passport sewa Kendra brought by Union Minister of state (Information and broadcasting)Manish Tewari, Mr. Bittu said only congress can provide basic facilities to the people and ensure development.

Mr. Ravneet Singh Bittu got strength as Punjab President of Shiromani Akali Dal (Delhi) and former member of Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee member Jaswinder Singh Baliyewal announced to support Congress. Baliyewal was close aide of S. Gurcharan Singh Tohra.
