Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today the MBBS Girls Hostel constructed at a cost of Rs 6.50 crore in the Dr Rajindra Prasad Medical College Tanda at Kangra.He also laid foundation stone of the Facility Block in the College. This would house doctors and students canteen, bank and other related facilities. This would be constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.95 crore. He also inaugurated the Amrit Pharmacy in the Medical College. This is the second Amrit Pharmacy in the State after one in the Indira Gandhi Medical College Shimla. This would provide medicines and related equipments at a subsidized rates upto 30 to 60 per cent to the needy patients. Chief Minister also visited the hospital and enquired about the wellbeing of the indoor patients.Earlier, the Chief Minister, on his arrival from Manali at Gaggal airport at Kangra inaugurated a bridge over Gaj khud at Rajol in Sharpur constituency of Kangra district.
