On the directions of Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh, Directorate of Health Services Jammu today organised a medical check-up camp at Govt Middle School Karanwara in Kathua district.Dr Nirmal Singh personally supervised the medical camp and also interacted with the students on the occasion. He said that the government has undertaken a sustained programme for ensuring that the people living in remote and far flung areas are provided with quality services in education, health and other related sectors.Dr Singh exhorted upon the students to accord top priority to their studies, so that they can make a mark for themselves in different fields of life and bring laurels to their areas and State. He said that youth are the real assets of a country and they should channelize their energies in a constructive ways so that they can be future leaders of the nation. It is worth to mention here that Karanwara is ancestral village of Dr.Nirmal Singh and has studied in this school.
