BJP lodges complaint against NC Minister

 After Peoples Democratic Party, BJP has now lodged a written formal complaint before Chief Election Commission against National Conference Minister Sakina Itoo for forcing people to take vows to vote for her with their hands on the Holy Quran behind closed doors.According to that letter to the Commission BJP has alleged that Sakina Itoo is exploiting religious sentiments of people and is using religion for vote bank. The party in its complaint has castigated Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for supporting the move of her female minister.“NC leader has violated the election code of conduct and desperate leaders of the National Conference, feeling the heat of public anger due to failure to provide good governance, is using religion to exploit people. The Commission must initiate action the said Minister,” the complaint reads.
