BJP National Executive member & Former State President Dr. Nirmal Singh, alongwith State General Secretary Bali Bhagat and other leaders, addressed public meetings at Pouni Chak, Raipur Mandi and Kangar in Raipur-Domana parliamentary constituency to seek votes to mobilize public and ensure their vote in favour of party candidate Jugal Kishore Sharma.Dr. Nirmal Singh, while addressing these meetings, said that the Congress is heading the UPA government at the Centre and same congress is sharing power with the National Conference in Jammu & Kashmir. While the UPA only promoted the cause of a handful of big business houses, corruption, price-rise etc., here the Congress-NC coalition followed the same line and achieved for Jammu and Kashmir the distinction of being one of the most corrupt state in the country. The people committed mistakes and returned the Congress to power but now they have realized it and have made up their mind to teach it a lesson.

Dr. Nirmal Singh said that the farmers in particular have been facing a number of problems and there is no one to take notice of the same. The slogans of development have fallen flat particularly in areas represented by BJP MLAs, which speaks of the discriminatory approach of the state government. He said that farmers keep crying for timely release of water for irrigation, availability of fertilizers, seeds and pesticides. Only paper work is done but the results are nowhere on the ground. He appealed the voters to support BJP for redressal of their problems.Bali Bhagat said that the SCs, STs, OBCs and other sections of the society have been ignored again and again and various welfare schemes do not reach them due to pick and choose policy of the government. He held the Congress responsible for the suffering of these sections and appealed to vote BJP for their better future.Sukhdev Singh Jamwal, Joginder Singh Chib,  Omi Khajuria, Hans Raj Manhas (Adv.), Th. Ranjit Singh Jamwal, Rajesh Thapa, Mudhu Soodan, Rajesh Gupta and other also addressed these meetings.
