Acharya Devvrat said that serving the suffering humanity was the true service to society and exhorted people to help every human being in time of distress.The Governor was speaking at a function organized by Maa Shoolini Sewa Dal at Solan today."To serve and help the others is the real religion and dedication towards the society is the real wealth", said the Governor and added that people live for themselves and great people live for others.Acharya Devvrat appreciated working of Maa Shoolini Sewa Dal for social cause.The Governor honoured sevadars of Maa Shoolini Sewa Dal on the occasion.Maa Shoolini Sewa Dal donated benches and sitting stools to Government Primary School, Shamti in the presence of the Governor. The Governor also honoured prominent persons, who did excellent work in their respective field on the occasion.Earlier, President, Maa Shoolini Sewa Dal Shri Sushil Chaudhary welcomed the Governor on the occasion and detailed out various social activities being executed by the organization in the district. Vice president, Aggarwal Sabha Solan proposed vote of thanks.Local MLA and former Minister Col (Dr) Dhani Ram Shandil , officers of district administration and other prominent people were also present on the occasion.
