The work on establishing Central University campus at Dehra in district Kangra would be started with in next two months so that this mega project could take off at the earliest possible. This was stated by Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur today while addressing a delegation led by MLA Shri Hoshiyar Singh, who had called the Chief Minister with a request to start work on this project early.Shri Thakur said that this project had suffered a lot due to the negative politics of the previous government in the State.He said that the Central University would immensely benefit the people of the area. He said that this would not only provide quality higher education to the students of the state in general and students of the region in the particular but would also a big boost to the economic activities in the region.He said that he had detailed discussion on this issue with Union Human Resource Development Minister Shri Prakash Javadekar.Former Minister Shri Ramesh Dhawala was also present on the occasion.
