Jawalamukhi MLA Sanjay Rattan has thanked the UPA government at the Centre for increasing the number of subsidised LPG cylinders from six to nine.Addressing mediapersons at the PWD rest house, Jwalamukhi, today, Rattan said Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh had promised people of the state that his government would take up the matter with the Central government for increasing the number of subsidised LPG cylinders. Rattan said the state government had fulfilled its promise within 24 days of coming into power.He expressed gratitude to UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi for the gesture. This would not only give relief to people, but also save the forest wealth of the state to a great extent, he added.
