The excitement, enthusiasm and gusto is palpable among city residents, party workers and supporters of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the party’s prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi’s ‘Bharat Vijay Rally’ to be held on March 29 at the Exhibition ground, Sector 34. This was stated by the BJP’s State President, Sanjay Tandon at a press conference held at party office, Kamlam, Sector 33 today.While sharing the details on the arrangements for Modi’s rally, Sanjay Tandon said, “There is a plan that Modi will address185 Bharat Vijay rallies in 295 constituencies. To ensure the success of the mega show in the city, we have made all the required arrangements and also spreading awareness by using the mass media. To create a buzz around, a special song has been prepared and an app has been created. Besides, an aggressive campaign is running on facebook, twitter and SMSs are being sent. To invite the people, a recorded voice message of our MP candidate, Kirron Kher is being spread. Moreover, people have been receiving invite through the calls being made through our call centre”. 

‘Bharat Vijay Rally’ is being characterized by unique mix of standardized format adapted to suite localized requirements.Talking to media-persons, Tandon informed, “Narendra Modi has special interest in Chandigarh because he has also remained BJP In-charge in the city for few years. He is already aware of the prevailing problems here and he has also sought all the details related to long pending issues from us. The city has been neglected by the Congress misrule from the last 15 years. We have prepared a chargesheet of the opposition party which will draw attention to UPA government’s scams and will highlight the plight of corruption-ridden congress MP, Pawan Kumar Bansal”.   

To ensure the smooth functioning of the rally there would proper security and parking arrangements, Tandon said. “We have identified different spots for parking for Buses, cars and two-wheelers to avoid the traffic chaos. There will be sufficient sitting arrangements and LED screens will be installed where a short film on Modi’s future vision will be played. We are expecting a spectacular show on March 29 and we have explored every medium to popularize event so that people come to know about the Modi’s vision for the betterment of the nation and for the city”. On this occasion, Vice-President, Raghubir Lal Arora, Cells Coordinator, Girdhari Lal Jindal, General Secretary, Prem Kaushik, Spokespersons, Dhirender Tayal, Dr A P Sanwariya and Naveen Kochhar, Ravinder Pathania, Shashank Bhandari, Baljinder Gujral and Surinder Sood  were present.
