After finishing the rally in Kajheri, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s campaign led by the party’s MP candidate for Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat reached at an open ground, near Ram Mandir of Sector 47 (Ward No 22). She was accompanied by the BJP’s State President, Sanjay Tandon.While delivering his speech, Sanjay Tandon said that the BJP’s caravan had been receiving an overwhelming response in the rallies and other poll campaigns.Adding to it, Tandon said, “The city is set to witness an end of Congress misrule this time. While talking about the Mission 272 plus with Narendra Modi, I asked him to take care of 271 seats and assured him to give one seat from Chandigarh.The biggest issue of the sector 47 is related to Chandigarh Housing Board. Bansal has come here many times and made several promised but never fulfilled them. The residents had to pay hefty amount as penalties due to the wrong policies but Bansal could not simplify the tense situation”.
Tandon expressed his full faith in Kirron Kher who has the capacity to resolve these issues. He also said that if Kirron comes to the power then the city would definitely get its much waited film city which will provide golden opportunities to the local populace.Speaking on the occasion, Kirron Kher said, “I have come here to seek your vote which will play an important role in deciding the future of the city. I will be able to resolve all the problems if you strengthen my party by confirming your support. The BJP is set to form the government at the centre and if there would be an MP from the same party from Chandigarh then all issues will get sorted out easily. Then citizens won’t have to run from pillar to post to get their problems worked out”.

Afterwards, Kirron Kher reached in sector 46 for canvassing where she was welcomed by the convener, Gurpreet Singh Dhillon (Spokesperson BJP, Chandigarh). He was accompanied by the National Secretary, Bharatiya Janata Mazdoor Sangh, Amardeep Sahni, Senior Deputy Mayor, Heera Negi, District Secreatry, Shayamlal, Mahila Morcha State Secretary, Pushpa Rathore, Mahila Morcha, District President, Ruby Gupta. In her speech, Kiiron Kher said that BJP’s high command had changed her fortune by providing an opportunity to serve the people of the nation. She added that it would be an honour for her to work under the leadership of a visionary Narendra Modi. “Now the time has come to get rid of the 15 years-long Congress misrule in the city. I request you to vote and support BJP so that we realizes the dream of changing the fortunes of the city. Please reach to your nearest polling station on April 10 to vote for BJP which means vote for development”, she added.
