Vidya Stokes, Irrigation and Public Health Minister here today directed the district administration to restore the vehicular traffic which was disrupted due to heavy snowfall. She also directed to restore the supply of electricity and damaged water supply schemes on war-footing.Irrigation and Public Health Minister said that dozers and other machinery and labourers had been deployed on Theog-Hatkoti and Narkanda road at various places for clearing the snow from roads.. She said that district administration had also been directed to clear the link roads on priority.Smt. Stokes asked district administration to supply essential commodities in sufficient quantity so that people may not face any inconvenience. All the departments had also been directed to take effective steps to tackle any kind of emergent situations, she added. She said that heavy snowfall in the hilly areas of State would be very beneficial for apple and other crops.
