Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while addressing a gathering at Circuit House in Solan today,  said that  time has come to bid farewell to cap politics in the state. In Himachal, political loyalties were denoted by the colour of caps. Former chief minister and his supporters use to wear a green band cap and were considered as having congress ideology whereas the BJP leaders and supporters adorned a maroon band cap. He said that the budget was in the corner and after the budget session will be over the congress will itself see the working of government

He said that the days of those serving for an individual and not for the government were over.
