Ashesh Kumar a boxer from Sundernagar of Mandi district bagged Bronze Medal in Asian Trials Games in Indonesia.Shri Ashesh Kumar met Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur last evening along-with President HP Boxing Association & Director Coaching Boxing Federation of India, Shri Rajesh Bhandari.The Chief Minister congratulated Shri Ashesh for this feat and said that the State had no dearth of talents and many young sports persons from the State had excelled themselves in various national and international sports events like cricket, kabaddi, shooting, skiing, mountaineering etc. He said that State Government was committed to provide adequate sports infrastructure to the budding sports persons.Chief Minister expressed hope that Shri Ashesh Kumar will continue his endeavour in future to perform better at national and international levels.
