Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Jammu (SKUAST-J), met Governor N. N. Vohra, Chancellor of the University at the Raj Bhavan.Dr. Sharma briefed Governor about various important academic and administrative matters relating to the functioning of the University and the Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs).Governor advised the Vice Chancellor to focus on region specific technological options with the clear objective of working for doubling the farmers’ incomes. He stressed the high importance of sustained high attention being paid, towards improving the teaching programmes and achieving tangible outcomes in all the research programmes which benefit the agriculture and its allied sectors in the Jammu Division.
