Aijaz Ali Khan, former IGP, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.Sh. Khan informed Governor about the work being done by him for securing development and restoration of peace and security in the area of Uri, his hometown.Governor urged Sh. Khan to continue sustained efforts for promoting a peaceful environment which would be conducive for the development and welfare of the people of Kashmir and take all possible initiatives to particularly safeguard the interests of youth and ensure against their involvement in non-productive activities.
