A one-day training programme on adoption of “Plant Protection Spray Advisory” 2018 was organised here at LalmandiSpeaking on the occasion, the Director Horticulture Kashmir M H Mir urged the officers to play their role in overcoming the challenges in the production part of the fruit crops.He stressed to ensure that the plant protection advisory reaches to the ultimate stakeholder (grower) so as to ensure that the produce from the orchards is a premium quality and provides the better returns.Experts Dr. Nisar Ahmad Khan, Associate Professor Plant Pathology and Dr. Rouf Ahmad, Associate Professor, Division of Entomology detailed at length the kind of plant protection advisory for use by the orchardist community during the growing season 2018 in their orchards.The programme was marked by a day-long interaction between the officers of the department and the scientists. The programme was attended by the officers of the department from across the valley.
