Deputy Commissioner Samba, Sheetal Nanda held a public meeting at Mahorgarh village of Nud block and listened to various issues raised by different delegations there. She was accompanied by ADC Tilak Raj Sharma, GM DIC Varinder Manyal, ACD Aijaz Qaiser and district officers from concerned departments.The villagers demanded improvement in basic amenities like power, water supply, healthcare and road connectivity. They also demanded restoration of Mahorgarh Fort for tapping tourist potential of the area.DC said that PMGSY road from Sarna to Mahorgarh is already under execution. Besides, proposal for road connectivity from Mansar is also under active consideration. She informed that tourist view points are being developed under 14th Finance Commission and pond renovation has already started under Rural Development Department’s Preservation of Water Body’s Scheme. She said that the administration shall promote village Chilla Danga to Mahorgarh Fort as a trekking route.
