The 7th day (Thursday) of the Arab Women Sports Tournament 2018, in its fourth edition under the title “The World is Your Court… Together Victorious”, was received with a grand celebratory occasion, with Jordan’s Mo’atah Club securing the Gold medal for the tournament’s table tennis team competition, winning a perfect score sheet of 10 full points with zero losses.Held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Sharjah Women Sports Foundation, the AWST 2018 has bid farewell to yet another grand season of its team table tennis games, celebrating the victory of the Jordanian female table tennis club, and celebrating Kuwait’s Al Fatat Club for securing second place.Securing Mo’atah Club’s tenth and perfect score came after its immediate victory over the Djibouti female club, which recorded a (0/3). Kuwait’s Fatat Club was short by only one point, securing a total score of 9 points with a record of 4 wins and 1 loss against the Jordanian female table tennis team.The season also ended with Bahrain Club locking down third place from its recent win on Sharjah Sports Club for Women, who locked down fourth place. Falling fifth place in AWST’s table tennis top 5 teams, Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah Green Club successfully won fifth place during the games.
