Terming Modi as very practical leader devoted to the cause of nation and masses, BJP Senior leader Kuldeep Raj Gupta, today while addressing the media persons at party headquarters, said that Modi, after becoming Prime Minister, will certainly lead the nation to new heights.Asserting his view point, Kuldeep Raj Gupta accused Congress of indulging in serving self fiefdom for the last more than six decades, befooling the people of the country and depriving them of even basic necessities. Now the people across the country have very well understood the truth that the Congress has been only making false promises which resulted in irrevertable wide scale corruption, number of scams, uncontrollable prices, making lives of the poor extremely difficult, besides lawlessness, rampant arrogancy, unemployment and financial irregularities in the country and in the state.
Mocking at UPA at the Centre and NC-Congress coalition in the state, Gupta further said that people of the country have suffered a lot and now have understood the meaning of development which is visible in Gujarat under the able administration of Narendra Modi. “The Gujarat model of growth requires to be identified as super model by rest of the states of India if they want to flourish”, he said.Kuldeep Raj Gupta said that the Congress has brought devastation in the country with unfulfilled commitments in words only contrary to Narendra Modi who has proven that he does what he promises. “Modi is a truely practical leader”, he added.
Charging the successive governments in J&K with discrimination with twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch, Gupta said that here also the Congress has been ruling the state on its own or as major coalition partner and what it did with people of Jammu is known to all. The Congress Ministers and MLAs always compromised for the petty personal benefits. The Rajouri and Poonch districts always returned NC and Congress leaders to the state assembly but the elected representatives of these parties did not take up the issue of discrimination, security, unemployment, issue of border people and refugees. The benefits of various welfare schemes too failed to reach the genuinely deserving people.Making an appeal to the voters of Rajouri and Poonch to support BJP, Gupta said that the neglected people of these districts are going to get a chance and should follow the people across the country who have made up their mind to show Congress the way for its mis-governance and misdeeds and bring in Narendra Modi.BJP State Press Secretary Balbir Ram Rattan was also present in the press conference.
