A largely attended public rally was held at Bhour-Camp Jammu which was addressed by Prof. Saifuddin Soz-MP (former Union Minister) and President JKPCC, Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad-Hon’ble Union Minister, Shri Madan Lal Sharma-MP and Shri Raman Bhalla-Minister for Housing.Speaking on the occasion Prof. Soz appealed to the people to caste their vote whole heartedly in favour of both the candidates of Jammu-Poonch and Udhampur-Kathua parliamentary constituencies for secularism, peace, progress and dignity of Jammu and Kashmir. He further urged the people to reject sectarianism and communalism.He welcomed Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad’s presence in Jammu and candidature for Udhampur and said that it would have good  effect in both the constituencies. He expressed hope that both will win with thumping majority. 

Speaking on the occasion Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad said that it is Congress party alone  which is interested in our all-round development and progress of the people and has always taken care about the downtrodden sections of the society. He said that no other party has the talent to serve the best interests of people. Shri Azad further stressed the point that BJP’s agenda was sectarianism, pisive and communal. He also explained the people that he consider Jammu to be mini Jammu and Kashmir and all communities are together, therefore, he has high hope that the people of Udhampur and Jammu would trust him and Shri Madan Lal Sharma and vote for them whole heartedly. 

Madan Lal Sharma said that he would try his best to come up to the expectations of the people of Jammu and hope that people would vote for him.Raman Bhalla, who has organized this public rally, thanked the people that inspite of bad weather and rain, they attended the rally in large number. He appealed the people to vote for Congress, whole heartedly.Prominent among those who attended the rally were Shri Ghulam Nabi Monga-MLC Vice President PCC, Smt. Indu Pawar-MLA President Pradesh Mahila Congress, Shri Om Chopra-Ex MLA President DCC and others.
