Several members raise public importance issues in LA during Zero Hour

Several members today raised various public importance issues in Legislative Assembly during Zero Hour.Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar urged the government to intervene in the issue of PG students of Dental College Srinagar who are on strike for the past several days. He said the Government should address the grievances of the striking students at the earliest. Altaf Ahmad Wani asked the government to expedite pace of work on Srigufwara road sanctioned under CRF and also demanded compensation to the families of land owners.  Raja Manzoor Ahmad demanded release of immediate ex-gratia relief in favour of the fire victims whose houses were gutted in a recent fire incident in his Constituency.Mohammad Amin Bhat urged the government to upgrade Primary Health Centre Devsar and also demanded to improve the heating system of the District Hospital Kulgam.

Devinder Singh Manyal asked the government to take steps to avoid intrusion of Monkeys towards residential areas in his Constituency and also urged for framing comprehensive policy for tackling intrusion of wild animals in residential areas to avoid man-animal conflict.Mohammad Shafi Uri raised the issue of theft cases in his Uri Constituency.Hakeem Mohammad Yasin asked the government to issue selection list of 480 Wardens whose interview and written test has already been conducted.Bashir Ahmad Dar asked the government to frame policy for rehabilitation of the families who returned from Pakistan and also urged the government to allow their children to get registered in JKBOSE.

Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami and G M Saroori demanded appointment of Chowkidars in all Panchayat Ghars of the State and also urged the government to give preference to one of the member of the land owners who donated their land for construction of Panchayat Ghars.Pawan Kumar Gupta demanded early funding for undertaking various ongoing developmental projects in his Constituency.Abid Hussain Ansari asked the government to expedite the pace of work on various development projects for conservation of Anchar Sar, Khushal Sar and other Sars for which funds have already been sanctioned. He also asked the Govt to stop encroachments on these Sars.Rajeev Jasrotia called for ensuring correct and accurate replies to the questions raised by the legislators in the House. Ali Mohammad Sagar asked the government for early release of compensation of Rs 10 lakh in favour of human shield victim as already recommended by the State Human Rights Commission.

Nawang Rigzin Jora urged the Union Government not to cut budget for Indo-China border.Mohammad Khalil Bandh asked the government for early release of funds for construction of General Bus Stand Pulwama and also asked for expeditious pace of work on construction of the project and ensure its timely completion.R S Pathania asked the government for conducting enquiry in unsatisfactory work on Rs 42 crore Udhampur-Ramgarh road project as already instructed in the District Development Board meeting.Kamal Verma demanded compensation to the families affected due to cross-border shelling and also demanded improvement in drainage system and ensuring proper irrigation and adequate drinking water facilities in his Constituency.Syed Farooq Ahmad Andrabi asked the government to fill the vacant teaching staff including posting of Headmasters in Qazigund, Verinag and Dooru Education Zones of his Constituency.

Vikar Rasool Wani urged the government for framing of comprehensive policy for Diploma/Degree holders like Technical Trained Engineers including civil, electric and paramedical, ITI, plumbers and operators for their job.Syed Aga Ruhullah asked the government to provide adequate drinking water facilities to the people of some areas of Budgam and Ompora from Water Supply Scheme Sukhnag as already committed by the government that these areas will be connected with the scheme.Shah Mohammad Tantray pleaded for early issuance of OBC certificates in favour of the deserved candidates of his Constituency.Neelam Kumar Langeh asked the government for ensuring Action Taken Reports of all the issues raised by the legislators during Zero Hour in a time bound manner.

Mian Altaf Ahmad asked the government for improvement of power infra especially repairs and renovation of damaged transformers in Kangan Constituency.Choudhary Mohammad Akram demanded for transfer of road from Jogi Mode to Dak Bungalow Surankote in his Constituency undertaken by BEACON to R&B department.Noor Mohammad Sheikh asked the government to expedite the pace of construction work on Takanwari and Shalteng bridges and also asked them to ensure early completion of these projects.Dalip Singh Parihar demanded for road in the name of late Naib Sobedar Chuni Lal resident of Bala Tehsil Bala district Doda winner of several awards. Mubarak Gul raised the issue of harassment of JK students in other States and demanded statement from the government in this regard. He demanded for construction of circle road and Mubarak Mandi GandolaMumtaz Ahmad Khan asked the government to expedite the pace of construction work on Lassu Gul Bridge and also urged for timely completion of the project.

Aijaz Ahmad Mir demanded establishment of new courts in the State of J&K.Shakti Raj Parihar asked the government to expedite the pace of work on Shiva Bridge in Doda Constituency sanctioned under State Sector and also called for release of funds for the purpose and ensure its completion in a time-bound manner.Javaid Ahmad Rana expressed concern over the issues concerning Baghi Jogian graveyard.Gulzar Ahmad Wani urged the government to expedite the pace of construction work on ongoing road projects in his Constituency.Krishen Lal asked the government to improve the water supply, road connectivity, lanes and drains in his Constituency.Anjum Fazili asked the government for improvement in drainage system in Srinagar City damaged due to 2014 floods. She also urged for development of lanes and drains.Usman Abdul Majid asked the government for stopping harassment of J&K Students in other States.

Choudhary Sukhnandan Kumar asked the government for up-gradation of road from Jammu to Akhnoor to avoid traffic jams.Asgar Ali Karbalie demanded for issuance of selection list of Fire Services for which interview was conducted in 2013-14.Abdul Rahim Rather pleaded for immediate filling up of medical and paramedical staff in all health institutions in Kokernag Constituency.Mohammad Akbar Lone asked the government for inclusion of genuine left out cases of casual labour, contractual and other daily rated workers in the uploaded online list for regularization.Choudhary Qamar Hussain urged for providing adequate drinking water facilities to the people of his Constituency.Rajeev Sharma asked the government for expediting of construction work on all ongoing developmental projects including macadamization of road projects in his Constituency.Shamim Firdous asked the government to constitute a Committee to look into the cause of increasing of growth rate of cancer cases in the State.
