The 4th day of Dr. M.S. Randhawa Art & Literary Festival being organized by the Punjab Kala Parishad turned out to be a memorable day with eminent Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu poets weaving magical spell on the audience with their recitations. The Chief Guest at the tri-lingual poetic recitation held late evening yesterday in the Randhawa auditorium at Punjab Kala Bhawan was prominent literary personality Mr. Gulzar Singh Sandhu while the Chairman of the Punjab Kala Parishad Dr. Surjit Patar presided over the function. On the occasion the Secretary General of the Parishad Dr. Lakhwinder Singh Johal and President of the Punjab Sahit Academy Dr. Sarbjit Kaur Sohal were also present.Addressing the audience after the conclusion of poetic recitation, Mr. Gulzar Singh Sandhu said that this festival is the best way to remember Dr. Randhawa who was a pioneering figure in the Art, Literary and Cultural fields. He congratulated the parishad for holding programmes devoted to the literary, cultural and artistic spheres during the 7 day festival. 

He also shared his memories of the moments spent with Dr. Randhawa and emphasized the holding of such poetic recitations on regular basis. Earlier, Dr. Surjit Patar welcomed the poets converging at the invitation of Kala Parishad and said that the main purpose behind the festival is to fulfill the dreams envisioned by Dr. Randhawa.The stage was conducted with admirable ease by journalist Deepak Sharma Chanarthal. Many famous poets including Prof. Gurbhajan Singh Gill, Mr. Gurcharan Singh Boparai, Dr. Surinder Gill, Sardar Panchhi, Manjit Indra, Sukhwinder Amrit, Darshan Buttar, Swaranjit Sawi, Jaspreet Falak, Dr. Rubina Shabnam, Madhav Kaushik, Balwinder Sandhu, Artinder Sandhu, Raman Sandhu, Trailochan Lochi, Manjinder Dhanoa, Manmohan Singh Daon, Sabdish, Harwinder Singh Gulabasi, Gurtej Koharwala, Vijay Vivek, Mukesh Alam, Jagdeep Sidhu, Sushil Dosanjh and Anu Bala regaled the audience with excellent presentations. Earlier, the mimicry artists from Ghanour also rendered a wonderful performance.
