This year marks the 100-year completion of a momentous event of Sai Baba taking Samadhi in Shirdi. In last 100 years, his cult has multiplied exponentially, and his message and teaching have brought solace to millions of his followers.Sony Entertainment Television’ Mere Sai in a short span of time has gained immense popularity and touched lives of several viewers across the nation, for its highly researched and authentic tale of Sai journey of life in an engaging screenplay format. The upcoming episodes will showcase one of the most heart touching tale of Sai’s leela wherein the saint through his lessons of Shraddha and Saburi brings about a positive change in the life of Suhasini, a troubled mother who has lost her son and her faith in God.To celebrate life teachings of Sai, with #MereSaiKiYatra, the lead actors Sai (Abeer Soofi) and Kulkarni (Vaibhav Mangle) visited the famous Sai Baba Mandir at Chhatri Bagh, Indore. The first leg of this yatra started with a visit to Shirdi and the famous Shirdi temple at Lodhi Road in Delhi was the second one to be visited. The team is visiting the third temple in Indore.In line with Thursday being observed as a Sai day, Sony Entertainment Television has a special ‘Sai Vaar’ every Thursdays.
In the forthcoming episodes, the viewers will see that Suhasini (played by Supriya Pilgaonkar) has come to Shirdi. Owing to a misfortune of losing her young son, her views towards God and his deeds have changed and Sai Baba faces the brunt of her anger and sorrow. With his kind nature and calm demeanour, Sai Baba preaches kindness and compassion to all and after learning about Suhasini’s loss and her suffering helps her to rediscover the joy of caring for others and in turn fills her life with happiness.Viewers were ecstatic and filled with reverence when they came face to face with their favorite actors Abeer Soofi and Vaibhav Mangle.Abeer Soofi said, “Sai has always been known for his spiritual teachings which have inspired and touched the lives of millions across the globe. This is my first trip to Indore and it’s an enriching experience to visit the cleanest city of the country. I have many friends and relatives in Indore and it was a pleasing experience to meet them. Both Vaibhav and I had a wonderful time visiting Indore and relishing different delicacies.”
