Five die in two different road accidents in Chenab Valley

In a deadly road accident, at least four passengers died while several others suffered injuries at Budhal area of Rajouri district of Chenab Valley. A police official said that a matador bearing registration number 6229 met with an accident near Budhal Rajouri, resulting in the injuries of over 12 persons. Sources however said that four wounded passengers succumbed to their injuries. The rest of injured have been airlifted to Government Medical College Jammu. Meanwhile in another roads accident, a five-year-old boy died and eight others were injured in Mendhar tehsil of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.Reports said that a passenger cab (bearing registration number JK 02 AL 2148) met with an accident today morning at Salwa Mendhar.The deceased was identified as Muhammad Sajad.The injured were shifted to Sub-district hospital Mendhar for treatment where from two critically injured Muhammad Kafeel and Zaroon Bi were referred to GMC&H Jammu for specialized treatment.
