Minister for Works (R&B), Mr Naeem Akhtar informed the house that the upgrading of various roads of Devsar Constituency is under active consideration of the Government.Replying to a question by Mr. Mohammad Amin Bhat, the Minister said that the projects viz widening/upgradation of National Highway at Levdoora to Y K Pora, Nagras, Peertakya, Betengoo including Razloo Chattergam Kund road in Devsar constituency is under active consideration under CRF.Responding to the another part of the question, he informed the construction work on Bamthan Zodar, Akhran, Mah Akhran, Manigam, Apar Bona Manigam, Kraloo, Shankerpora, Wanpora and Babapora bridges is in progress and likely to be completed as per the expected schedule.However, he said the work on Akhran Hanjipora bridge has not been taken up due to non-finalization of site.The Minister further said that construction of Steel Truss Girder Bridge 3x30m in place of 6x20m which was washed away at Asajipora Kamal Sadoora road has been recommended for funding under World Bank assistance at an estimated cost of Rs.8.28 crore.
