Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur on his visit to Jaisinghpur assembly constituency of district Kangra today laid foundation stone of improvement and extension of Lift Irrigation Supply Schemes, Alampur and Lambagaon to cost Rs. 4.74 crore. He said that the scheme will reclaim 208 hectares of land of six villages viz: Beed, Sai, Malodan, Lambagaon, Dasloon and Pantehad. He said that there was a target to irrigate 3500 hectare of land in the state this fiscal. There was a provision of Rs. 365.38 lakh to be spent under Thural IPH division for irrigation purpose covering Jaisinghpur constituency.
