Indo Global Colleges celebrated ‘national day of girl child’. The main motive of celebrating this event was to give information about the rights to the girl students, Opportunities for girls and to increases awareness of inequality faced by girls worldwide based upon their gender such as access to education, nutrition, legal rights, medical care, and protection from discrimination, violence and to show importance of girls in our family and society. However, a cultural program where  skits ,poetry ,songs & dances were staged .While addressing the students Chairman Sukhdev Singla said that there is no doubt that  the trend of educating girls has commenced in Punjab but still in villages and small towns girls  are kept deprived of higher education, however, girls outshine boys almost in every area. He further added in this era of inflation each family member has to do jobs that’s why if girls are educated then they can not only help the family but can  be pride of the nation. He also urged that, while understanding their rights girls should confront any problem.
