Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Kavinder Gupta today laid foundation stone of two Sulabh Toilet Complexes at Zorawar Singh Chowk and Channi Himmat to be constructed and maintained by Sulabh International Social Service Organization, J&K Branch with the support of Jammu Municipal Corporation.Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta said that the toilet complexes will be constructed at an estimated cost of 10.5 lakhs each and will be completed within three months. Speaker maintained that this was one of the long pending demands of the people and assured that requisite steps will be taken to provide better amenities to the people.Mentioning about Swacch Bharat Mission, Speaker exhorted that it is the duty of all citizens to keep their surrounding clean. He said that our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a clear vision of Clean India and we all need to give a hand in this mission to fulfill his dream.He asserted that government has taken many initiatives to make our city clean and beautiful and sought the cooperation and support of the people in this mission.
