Education Minister Shri Suresh Bhardwaj today said that State Government was committed to develop basic infrastructure in all educational institutes. He said that administrative approval of Rs. 16,18,41,000 has been given for construction of building of Vallabh Government College Mandi and Rs. 10,82,10,000 for Govt. College Bassa in Mandi district under RUSA component.The Minister said that a sum of Rs. 798.76 lakh has also been sanction for providing better infrastructural facilities in 19 Govt. Senior Secondary Schools of Shimla district which include construction of school building, science laboratories and stadiums etc.He said that the government was endeavouring to provide all basic facilities in the schools in a phased manner so that students of the rural areas could get better environment for pursing their studies at their door steps.Shri Bhardwaj said that the state government has accorded administrative approval of Rs. 4,90,86,000 under mid-day-meal scheme. The process has been started for giving promotion to the employees and the vacant posts of various categories would be filled up on priority basis.
