Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Ch. Sham Lal informed the House that the overall water scenario in Zadibal constituency is satisfactory, but during summer months some newly established areas in Bhagwanpora and Lal Bazar area do face shortage of portable water. He said the department was taking appropriate steps to improve the water supply position.Replying to a question by Mr. Abid Hussain Ansari, the Minister said that the areas including Devi Angan, Gulshan Bagh are fed from the Kohimaran service reservoir which get assured water supply on intermittent basis for a specified schedule during the day.
