Jiyani Directs Officers/Employees Of Forest Department To Wear Dress During Duty Hours

Surjit Kumar Jiyani, Forest and Wildlife Protection Minister, today strictly directed the officers/employees of his department to always be in proper dress during duty hours otherwise be ready to face the music. Mr. Jiyani also directed the top brass of the department to ensure that the officers/employees (up to Range Officers) would not be present on duty without wearing proper departmental dress. He said that this rule of the department should be implemented in true spirit and no violator of this rule would be spared. The Minister in his message to officers/employees said that uniform was not only identity of them but discipline and power too. Mr. Jiyani said that Punjab Government was committed to save the forests and wildlife protection. He said that Punjab Government was going to launch a plantation move to expand the area under forest cover.
