Member Legislative Assembly Haveli, Shah Mohammed Tantry today kick-started blacktopping work on 6 km stretch road from Suka Chova to Dooprian at village Khanetar.The blacktopping work on the stretch has been taken up under NABARD at an estimated cost of Rs 75 lakh by PWD department.Speaking on the occasion, MLA said that blacktopping and macadamization on various road projects in the area are in progress with some works at completion stage adding that work on the rest of the link roads would also be taken up soon.He further said that the government has initiated many micro and mega projects with special focus on upgrading road connectivity, provision of improved drinking water and power supply for better socio-economic profile of people.On the occasion, the MLA took into account the demands of local populace for upgradation of primary school, removing shortage of teaching staff in schools, inclusion of deserving souls under BPL category and construction of Dak Bungalow at Khannetar Top.
