Div Com directs for strengthening mobile network in Gurez, Tulail

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir today directed the district administration Bandipora and mobile operators to work in tandem so that all the network connectivity issues faced by people in flung areas of Gurez and Tulail are addressed at the earliest.The Div Com was chairing a meeting with representatives of telecom operators including BSNL, JIO, Airtel, Vodafone and others. The DDC Bandipora participated via video conferencing.The Div Com assured the private mobile operators that government will facilitate them in all possible ways in case they want to expand their network in these areas. He assured the representatives of mobile operators that providing of various NOCs will be expedited in case they want to establish new towers in the area.The Div Com said that Chief Minister is concerned on issues facing the people of the areas with regards to mobile connectivity. He said that government will ensure that in the comings the areas will have similar mobile service as other parts of the state.
