Budgam police recovered a kidnapped girl from Banihal Railway station within 24 hours and arrested the accused involved in the crime.Police Station Budgam received a complaint from one person (name withheld) resident of Budgam that his daughter has been kidnapped by one Gazanfer Ali Rather son of Ghulam Rasool Rather resident of Ichgam on 16th of December 2017.Accordingly, a case under section 363 RPC was registered in Police Station Budgam and investigation was started.During the course of investigation, Budgam police got important clues that led to tracing of accused person along with the kidnapped girl at Banihal railway station within 24 hours. The girl was recovered and the accused involved was arrested. After completion of legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her parents.
