Trio goes missing after massive snowfall in Pir Panchal region

At least three persons have gone missing in Chenab Valley following the massive snowfall in the region.   A police official three civilians were on way towards their native village in Bani Kathua when they got stuck at Chatargulla area due to snowfall.The trio had started their journey from Bhadarwah when weather conditions were normal. However, as they proceeded towards Chatargulla, the area abruptly witnessed massive snowfall as a result they got trapped. The police official told news agency CNS that family members of the missing persons received phone calls from their cell numbers on December 12 and since then they are not traceable.   The official identified the missing trio as Ganesh Kumar son of Kamlu of Chunchali Khurwa, Romal Chand son of Tej Ram of Barmotta Bani and Kuldeep Kumar son of Parshuram of Rolka Banni.A joint team of Army and local police have reached to Chattargula area to trace them,” the official said.
