District Information Centre Ramban in collaboration with Nirvana Academy organised a symposium on the theme, “Increasing Corruption in Society” in the premises of ParyasHemkrish Model School (PHMS), here today.Principal of the school, S K Attri was the chief guest on the occasion whereas Chief Organiser Nirvana Academy Tahir Mushtaq presided over the function besides staff members and students were also present on the occasion.Vedika Kamakshi, student of 5th class adjudged overall best in symposium while Salma Bahar and SaiyraKatoch both of 8th class secured second and third position in the competition respectively.Speaking on the occasion chief guest exhorted upon the students to aware their family members about the demerits of corruption. She said that corruption is a crime and it should be removed from the society and it is the responsibility of every citizen to make the society corruption free.Later, the students presented a colourful cultural item by the students of the school which enthralled the audiences.
