41st Annual Day Celebrated At Gian Jyoti global School

Gian Jyoti Global School celebrated its 41st Annual Day on the theme of ‘Shades of Life’ at Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh. Over 1300 students participated in the celebration and enthralled the audience with their magnetic performances. Shri Mohinder Pal (IAS), Special Secretary, Local Bodies, Govt. of Punjab was the Chief Guest on the occasion .Ranjeet Bedi, Principal, Gian Jyoti Global School, presided over the function. J.S.Bedi, Chairman, Gian Jyoti Group and Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director, GJIMT were also present on the occasion. Gian Jyot,Vice Principal, Gian Jyoti Global School extended warm welcome to the dignitaries and presented the School Annual Report for the year 2017.  She highlighted the achievements of the school in both Academic and Co-curricular activities. The students displayed a wide array of colorful events and presented the theme ‘Shades of Life’. Kindergarten students performed on ‘Om Sai Ram’, ‘Saare Ke Saare’ and ;Lakadi ki Kathi’ and these tiny tots of Gian Jyoti Made the audience dance on their moves.

The main highlight of celebration was Punjabi which presented earlier life and modern life and dance performances on ‘Ki Banu Duniya Daa’, ‘Mud Mud Yaad Satandi Pind Diya Galiya Diya’ and Hani Kaarak Bapu.  Students presented Dandiya . Boys performed a wonderful Qwali. Students also performed Western Dance, English Play, Hindi Play, Bhagra and many more performances by GianJyotians enthralled the audience. Chief Guest Mohinder Pal while speaking on the occasion, congratulated the school for making efforts in taking such an enlightening theme for the Annual Function which requires a quick moral action on everybody’s part. Ranjeet Bedi, Principal of the school applauded the efforts of the students, teachers and parents for making the celebration a huge success. J.S. Bedi, Chairman, appreciated the efforts of Principal and teachers for putting their soul in the school and for taking long strides in rendering quality education in Mohali and surrounding areas.
