On the directions of Election Commission of India 2nd Round of National Quiz Competition was held today in conference Hall at DC Office Jammu under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Jammu Kumar Rajeev Ranjan.Additional Deputy Commissioner (Adm.) Kanta Rakwal and Deputy District Election Officer Jammu Zaffar Ahmed Banday, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer, Krishan Lal, Deputy Chief Education Officer, Davinder Manhas were present on the occasion. The first round of ECI Quiz was held at SRML Jammu on 25th April in which more than 270 students participated out of which 42 students were shortlisted for 2nd round on the basis of merit.In today’s round all the 42 students participated in which Sarvjeet Kour of Govt. Hr. Sec. School Canal Road Jammu, Anshveer Kour of Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School Bakshi Nagar and Neha of Govt. Hr. Sec. School Canal Road Jammu emerged as winner and were awarded cash prizes alongwith trophies. All the participants were given certificate of appreciation.The whole process of this event was supervised by Chief Education Officer, J. K. Sudan and Deputy Chief Education Officer Devinder Singh Manhas, District Youth Service & Sports Officer Chanchal Kour, Dr.Kishore Sharma & Mohinder Kumar were the members of the Organizing Committee.
