Allotment of NEET centers in Valley result of CM’S earnest efforts : PDP

Terming the allotment of the NEET centers in Srinagar and Baramulla an earnest effort by the government to end hardships faced by the aspirants, ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday hailed the decision.The party says the allotment of the two examination centers in Kashmir Division for medical graduates appearing in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to post-graduate courses is being viewed all across as a major relief for the aspirants who earlier had to witness severe hardships to appear in the test outside Valley.“Such a vital development is a result of the earnests efforts of the chief minister Mehbooba Mufti who on time raised the issue with the union health ministry and succeeded in getting the centers allotted for Kashmiri student in Srinagar and Baramulla,” PDP’s Srinagar district president and MLC Mohammad Khurshid Alam said in a statement.He added that the chief minister is taking keen interest in ending the woes of the student community in the state and has been striving since assuming office to make all requisite facilities available for them. “The aspirants earlier appearing for the NEET had to move outside the Valley and stay there for days, causing immense hardships to them and to their families. The allotment of NEET centers in Valley is a major relief for the aspirants,” the PDP leader said.Alam maintained further that the education scenario is witnessing new heights in the state and thanks to the efforts of the chief minister that the youth are scanning the new horizons with eager hope and their achievements would be second to none in the country. “We would like to wish the aspirants of NEET good luck and hope that they would come out with flying colors,” PDP leader said.  (CNS)
