Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri visited by Prof. Dr. John Lee, Vice Chancellor & President of Kyungdong University, Korea. During his visit, a number of issues regarding various opportunities in Korea for the students were discussed. Dr. Lee informative talk included some novel ideas like setting up of Academic Collaboration Centre and Globalization of Curriculum in which a flexible curriculum is provided by Kyungdong University and any other University of the world can get it modified as per their own requirements. Dr. Lee also informed that if a student completes three years of study in India & one year in Kyungdong University, this University reimburses to the concerned college its own fee chargeable from the student. Issue regarding part time and full time jobs in Korea was also discussed so that the students could at least partially meet their expenses in Kyungdong University.Speaking on the occasion, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC said that CGC Jhanjeri has signed MoUs with a number of foreign universities to facilitate student exchange and faculty exchange programme & also to provide opportunity to students to explore avenues for higher studies & placements abroad. Dr. G.D.Bansal, Director General said that a number of students of CGC Jhanjeri have already visited various reputed Universities abroad with a view to provide opportunity to its students for higher studies abroad & a large number of foreign students are studying in various courses in CGC Jhanjeri.
